Library Strategic Plan
The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) System is in the planning process of major upgrades aimed to alter the way in which libraries interact with the communities they serve. SAPL needed a logo for their “strategic plan” reflective of their modern, forward-thinking aspirations.
Specifically, SAPL wanted to reflect the growing use of digital technology with the library system today. This abstract logo hints at the past, present and future of information, learning and knowledge. The curved shapes symbolize pages of a book and the screen of a computer. The grid of squares represents a keyboard, pixels or general digitalization of information.
