Our local energy company (CPS) set a goal to reduce energy in the community by 771 megawatts by 2020. Utilizing energy efficiency and conservation programs, residential and business customers were offered rebate incentives for performing various energy saving upgrades. The scope of work included print ads, TV spots, rack brochure family, pocket folders, outdoor boards, bus panels, T-shirts, flash web banners, eblasts, posters, bumper stickers and counter cards.

The designs needed to be bold and straightforward. I wanted to differentiate these pieces from the various mundane clutter that fills our lives. I focused on bold typographic treatments, colors and textures in an attempt to grab and hold one’s attention.

The campaign was a success. CPS received a very healthy response from residential and business owners alike, and the energy conservation goals set for this phase of the campaign were easily surpassed.

(With regards to the three flash banners, design, animation and flash coding was done by me.)
