Legacy79 // November 2013 – Present

My current position with Legacy79 presents a multitude of challenges in the realm of branding. With a focus on start-ups, I am consistently challenged with creating unique and memorable logos, print and interactive designs that allow our clients to compete with established competitors.

KGBTexas // December 2007 – November 2013

My position at KGBTexas allowed me to work on a variety of projects across multiple mediums. From the interactive screen to the printed page, I constantly rose to challenges with creative and critical thinking. I also gained first-hand knowledge of print production by attending press checks and working with printers to achieve various effects by means of paper selection and folding/printing techniques. Overall, I obtained invaluable experience working on multi-faceted projects which further enhanced my ability to think creatively for logo, publication, print and interactive design.

Gravitate Design // October 2007 – December 2007

Freelancing for Gravitate Design gave me the opportunity to approach web design from a slightly different perspective. Hired to help ease their overflow of work, I was frequently asked to use my design abilities to flesh-out interior web page designs, search stock houses for appropriate photography as well as perform routine website maintenance. Overall, this experience helped me develop a critical eye for photographic selection while further developing my web design skills.

Wickley Interactive // August 2006 – October 2007

As a full-time Graphic Designer at Wickley, my responsibilities included print and web design, website updates, and front-end web development. Important milestones to note include: conceptual design work for the
San Antonio Zoo’s Africa Live! Exhibit, development of a logo for a temporary bug exhibit at the San Antonio Zoo, increased my knowledge of front-end web development and Flash Actionscript.

Wickley Interactive // May 2006 – August 2006

Interning for a small design shop such as Wickley provided immediate exposure in graphic design, web design, flash animation, HTML front-end development and Flash Actionscript coding. A few important milestones reached while interning included: gaining conceptual logo development experience, designing and producing static websites (PSD to HTML coding & CSS styling) and gaining organizational knowledge regarding website folder structures.
